Bamberg

Bamberg sits ten minutes down the road from us, so scheduling here is nearly as quick as Denmark. Most of what we do in town is exterior work: house washing, siding and trim repaints, porch rails, and fences that have gone a few years too long between coats.

Shaded lots around Bamberg grow a lot of mildew on the north-facing walls. We soft wash rather than blasting it, because high pressure on painted siding drives water behind the boards and takes the finish with it. Wash, dry, then paint, in that order.

Inside, we take on the whole list: repaints room by room, ceilings, trim and doors, cabinet refinishing, and the drywall repairs that always turn up once the furniture moves.
